After living in Lucerne Valley for over a year. I finally got a ride to the Apple Valley Library. It was so nice to be in a decent library again. And to my delight, right off the lobby they have a used bookstore. And some photographer had downsized their collection so I got 3 photography books for $1. each and 2 home decor books for $1. or less.
I met a librarian named Shannon and she ordered the next 3 books in the vampire series by Cast. And they will show up at my local library so I can grab them without having to go back to Apple Valley.
The book I'm reading now is in the photo. The Raven's Gift is a thriller based in Alaska.
